About Copperworkx

Ross & Michelle Sturgeon are the owners and artists of Copperworkx operating from their home in Coromandel Town.

Both their backgrounds started in farming and both have a passion for fishing and the great outdoors.

As artists they find inspiration in nature and their own life experiences.

Ross & Michelle are both self taught and find working with copper so rewarding.

Scrap copper is sourced from regular suppliers. Recycled materials are used although the context is altered giving them a new lease of life.
